This suburb casts a wide net from Glen Iris and Ashburton to its north, Chadstone on the east, Murrumbeena and Carnegie to its south, and on the west by Caulfield East and Malvern. Darling Park and Gardiners Creek are home to a variety of sporting groups including football, cricket and soccer along with walking/cycling tracks that take you right into the CBD. If it’s tennis you want then head across to the East Malvern Tennis Club or if golfing is your preference, visit the Malvern Valley Public Golf Course.

For commuters Malvern East is serviced by a variety of transportation options, including the Darling and East Malvern railway stations, trams and buses. And as mentioned, if you want to go clean, ride your bicycle along Gardiners Creek all the way into town!
