Buying a property in Parkville can be a daunting and difficult process. For many of us, buying property is something we only do a few times in our lives.
A buyers advocate (also known as a buyers agent or property finder) can be an enormous help when buying a home or investment property by:
- removing the stress and frustration of buying a home
- saving you time and allowing you to get your weekends back
- saving you from having to deal with the tactics of real estate agents
Questions such as “where can I find a home I can afford”, “am I paying too much?”, “where can I find someone to bid for me at auction” are easily answered with the assistance of a buyer’s agent specialising in the Parkville area.
A buyers advocate can manage the entire buying process for you or, where you have found a property, negotiate on your behalf with the agent or bid at auction for you.
WE MAKE IT EASY to get your weekends back and find the perfect home or investment property in Parkville for a LOW FLAT FIXED FEE. We guide you through the entire process, from selecting a home, market appraisal, negotiating/bidding to the final inspection, and help you purchase with confidence.
We also offer a service for vendors selling in Parkville. We offer our Vendor Advocacy service to our sellers at NO CHARGE.
Parkville Suburb Profile
An inner-city suburb of Melbourne, Parkville is a beautiful suburb situated only three kilometres north of the CBD to the city. It is part of the City of Melbourne.
Parkville is known as the centre of education, research and healthcare. It is, of course, home to the University of Melbourne and Monash University also has a campus in Parkville. Also in the area are major research institutes such as the Peter MacCallam Cancer Centre, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL).
Major healthcare facilities can also be found here such as the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.
The suburb is also popular for its Royal Park where the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens exists. It spans 181 hectares making it the largest inner city park of Melbourne. The athlete’s village for the 2006 Commonwealth Games can also be found here.
Housing in the suburb has a high median price owing to its proximity to the city centre and parkland. Dwellings here range from terrace houses, timber cottages, new apartments and Victorian era buildings. Median property prices can be found by clicking this link.
Parkville has great transport links. From the Royal Park railway station which is on the Upfield line, to the various tram lines it’s super easy to get around. Although you could probably get away with walking everywhere!
All in all, residents of Parkville are spoiled for choice with the many parks, sporting facilities, and accessible public transportation as well as being close to the nightlife of the CBD and surrounding suburbs like Brunswick, Carlton and Fitzroy at your doorstep.
