Buying a property in Macleod can be a daunting and difficult process. For many of us, buying property is something we only do a few times in our lives.
A buyers advocate (also known as a buyers agent or property finder) can be an enormous help when buying a home or investment property by:
- removing the stress and frustration of buying a home
- saving you time and allowing you to get your weekends back
- saving you from having to deal with the tactics of real estate agents
Questions such as “where can I find a home I can afford”, “am I paying too much?”, “where can I find someone to bid for me at auction” are easily answered with the assistance of a buyer’s agent specialising in the Macleod area.
A buyers advocate can manage the entire buying process for you, or when you have found a property, they can negotiate on your behalf with the agent or bid at auction for you.
WE MAKE IT EASY to get your weekends back and find the perfect home or investment property in Macleod for a LOW FLAT FIXED FEE. We guide you through the entire process, from selecting a home, market appraisal, negotiating/bidding to the final inspection, and help you purchase with confidence.
We also offer a service for vendors selling in Macleod. We offer our Vendor Advocacy service to our sellers at NO CHARGE.
Macleod Suburb Profile
Macleod is an oddly shaped Melbourne suburb located approximately 14kms north-east of the Melbourne CBD in the Cities of Banyule and Darebin.
The historic suburb of Macleod dates back to the mid 1800’s when it was named Strathallan by the Scottish owner who cleared and leased it to tenant farmers. It wasn’t known as Macleod until well after it was resold in 1908 and subdivided post 1910. In the 20th century the housing estates known as Macleod Estate, Golf Links Estate and Dunvegan Estate were established, with the Springthorpe Estate built during the year 2000.
Macleod’s northern boundary intercepts Mont Park and Watsonia, extending northwards from the rest of the suburb to incorporate the vast expanse of the Gresswell Forest Nature Conservation Reserve.
Schools in Macleod include Charles La Trobe College in the south-west pocket, Macleod College near the centre, and Ivanhoe Grammar School on the mid-west side.
Public transportation is by way of bus or train, with the Macleod railway station on the Hurstbridge line conveniently located beside the Macleod Village Green, local shops, dining venues and Macleod Shopping Village in the centre of the suburb.
The following suburbs are Macleod’s neighbours: Bundoora, Heidelberg West, Heidelberg Heights, Mont Park, Watsonia, Rosanna and Yallambie.
