A buyers advocate (also known as a buyers agent or property finder) can be an enormous help to make it easy to buy a home or investment property by:
- removing the stress and frustration of buying a home
- saving you time and allowing you to get your weekends back
- saving you from having to deal with the tactics of real estate agents
Questions such as “where can I find a home I can afford”, “am I paying too much?”, “where can I find someone to bid for me at auction” are easily answered with the assistance of a buyer’s agent specialising in the Glen Waverley area.
A buyers advocate can manage the entire buying process for you or, where you have found a property, negotiate on your behalf with the agent or bid at auction for you.

Glen Waverley Suburb Profile
Glen Waverley is one of the suburbs in Melbourne. Part of the City of Monash, the area is located 19 kilometers south-east of the Central Business District.
The first settlers in the area arrived in the middle of the 19th century. They were responsible for developing Glen Waverley into orchards and farmlands.
By the 1950s until the 1970s, major development occurred with the building of houses including those on large blocks of land. The larger blocks were subdivided and became the site of townhouse development.
The first McDonald’s restaurant in Victoria opened in Glen Waverley. It was Australia’s second branch after the original opened in the capital city of Sydney but it is now the oldest in the country as Sydney’s branch has already closed.
Leisure and Educational Facilities
The main dining and entertainment center in Glen Waverley can be found in Kingsway, the main street of the suburb. It is also here where the Century City Walk can be found which houses the Village Cinema and a Strike Bowling Bar.
Various hotels are also in place such as the Novotel Glen Waverley, Quest Hotel and Waverley International Hotel.
Other structures in the suburb include a Monash Public Library Service, post office, churches and the Victoria Police Academy housed in the former Roman Catholic seminary.
Some international business companies also have their Australian headquarters in Glen Waverley. These include Ansell, 3M, Ansell and Toshiba.
Educational facilities are plenty in the area. From primary and secondary to colleges and universities, residents have a lot to choose from.
Transportation
Public transportation is easily available in the area making the suburb accessible to people. There’s a Glen Waverley train station the services commuters several times a day.
During peak hours, a train departs every eight minutes and every 15 minutes during off-peak times.
In addition, there’s the Syndal railway station situated in the western part of the Glen Waverley station.
The suburb can also be reached by bus. Different bus lines also service the area such as the Ventura Bus Lines, Grenda’s Bus Services and Driver Bus Lines.
Many of the Chinese in Melbourne have made Glen Waverley their home. Reports say the suburb has one of Melbourne’s highest concentrations of people with Chinese ancestry. Some 10,500 people or 22.4 percent of residents in the area are Chinese compared to only 3.7 percent in the entire state of Victoria. Factors that attract this group of immigrants to the suburb are good public school education, transport, safe environment and the presence of other migrants.
