The suburb of Pascoe Vale has a rich history dating back to the late 1830s, when John Pascoe Fawkner purchased property in the area, which he named “Pascoeville”.

Additionally, there’s a range of sport and recreational facilities throughout Pascoe Vale including the Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre, situated on its western boundary. The centre includes indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art gym, fitness classes and sports clubs.
Public Transport
Pascoe Value is very accessible by public transport. The Craigieburn line, which departs from Southern Cross Station, passes through the suburb and stops at Pascoe Vale train station.
The 542 and 561 bus routes also connect Pascoe Vale with suburbs along the Northern and North Eastern parts of Melbourne.
Additionally, the 58 tram, which stops at the corner of Melville Rd and Bell St, easily connects with the 561 route to allow Pascoe Vale residents another way of travelling to and from the CBD.
