Buying a property in Cheltenham can be a daunting and difficult process. For many of us, it is something we only do a few times in our lives.
A buyers advocate (also known as a buyers agent or property finder) can be an enormous help to make it easy to buy a home or investment property by:
- removing the stress and frustration of buying a home
- saving you time and allowing you to get your weekends back
- saving you from having to deal with the tactics of real estate agents
Questions such as “where can I find a home I can afford”, “am I paying too much?”, “where can I find someone to bid for me at auction” are easily answered with the assistance of a buyer’s agent specialising in the Cheltenham area.
A buyers advocate can manage the entire buying process for you or, where you have found a property, negotiate on your behalf with the agent or bid at auction for you.
WE MAKE IT EASY to get your weekends back and find the perfect home or investment property in Cheltenham for a LOW FLAT FIXED FEE. We guide you through the entire process, from selecting a home, market appraisal, negotiating/bidding to the final inspection, and help you purchase with confidence.
We also offer a service for vendors selling in Cheltenham. We offer our Vendor Advocacy service to our sellers at NO CHARGE.
Cheltenham Suburb Profile
A suburb of the Kingston City local government area, Cheltenham is situated 19 kilometers south-east of the central business district.
The Cheltenham area dates back to 1852 when it was still part of the estates in the Moorabbin parish. Formerly named Acre Village, lots were sold between the years 1853 and 1854. It was during that time that the township was given the name Cheltenham.

One of Cheltenham’s oldest shopping centers is Westfield Southland. Situated in the northern part of the suburb, it was opened in 1968 and now has more than 400 stores. Southland offers residents of Cheltenham a one-stop hub of dining, entertainment, wellbeing and relaxation options. Other shopping areas include the Kingston Central Plaza and the Cheltenham Shopping Center located on Charman Road.
If outdoor activities are more your thing, then Cheltenham offers many options. There are the Football and Cricket clubs, both with histories that date back to the mid 18th century and other sporting activities such as baseball, golf and lawn bowls. All of which are active and thriving sporting clubs in Cheltenham. For Nature lovers, the Kingston Reserve, Botanical Gardens and Cheltenham Park, all offer tranquil and relaxing nature walks nestled amongst city living.
Families with school-aged children have access to a range of schooling options. There are five primary schools and one high school in Cheltenham: the Cheltenham Primary School, East Primary School, Le Page Primary School, Kingston Health Primary School, Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Primary School and the Cheltenham Secondary College.
With the commencement of the Suburban Rail Loop to begin before 2025 and with trains expected to run between Box Hill and Cheltenham from 2035, Cheltenham will have excellent transport infrastructure. Read more about this project here in our recent newsletter.
