- Colour – crispy white shades haven’t left the palette altogether, but there is an increased use of naturally earthy tones with bold injections of colour. A dash of terracotta or a splash of green or blue adds vibrancy and impact while keeping the mood cool and calm.
- Curves – yep, curvy is the go! Architectural design sees the introduction of soft curves within fixtures and furniture. From rounded ends on island benches and even curved interior walls, to plump curvy sofas and furniture pieces designed with a circular theme, the look is soft, smooth and well-rounded this year.
- Wellness Spaces – with a continued focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing, new home designs are trending towards defined wellness spaces. Biophilic elements draw nature indoors for green serenity, while water features, adjustable lighting and secluded me-time nooks are meeting our emotional needs.
- Personality – the uncluttered Hamptons look hasn’t moved out of home, but 2025 interior styling sees more personality through wallpaper, timber paneling, layered artifacts and textured soft furnishings.
