There were 407 auction results reported this week, ending the 12th March. A total of 241 were sold at auction, 87 were passed in and 79 sold prior to auction. Data from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria report a clearance rate of 79%.
Auction activity is approximately half what it was compared to this time last year, although according to Corelogic, auction volumes were expected to dip this weekend due to Victoria’s Labour Day long weekend.
