As open for inspection restrictions eased somewhat for the first weekend in almost two months, the week ending 19th September delivered a clearance rate of 95% from the 208 auctions reported for the period (based on REIV data). At the same time last year, there were just 17 auctions reported.
84 homes sold at auction last week and another 79 sold prior to auction, with 8 passed in. 75 properties were withdrawn from sale and 246 auctions were postponed.
