The week ending 31st October delivered a clearance rate of 85% from the 1088 auctions reported for the period (based on REIV data). At the same time last year, there were 489 auctions reported.
633 homes sold at auction last week and another 289 sold prior to auction, with 164 passed in. 48 properties were withdrawn from sale and 111 auctions were postponed.
It is great to see that the number of properties selling at auction is increasing.
