Yes, of course, there are homes around that will sell well in any market. But a lot of homes are languishing on the market right now, mainly because buyers have a lot of choice and that choice equates to power. That power rests with the buyers right now.
So why am I getting a heap of messages? Sellers want to sell.
I am getting lots of text messages, emails and calls from agents that are looking for buyers. A lot of sellers wish to sell, but we are on the doorstep of Christmas. So in order to run a sales campaign to auction a home, those homes need to be held over into 2023. We’ll start to see auctions happening again towards the end of January.
But for now, sellers have to wait. Unless they can secure a sale off market. Hence the messages.
