Suburbs such as Werribee and Hoppers Crossing also saw a substantial influx of people as did Geelong, Bendigo and Ballarat, along with Casey in the south-east, the western regional areas around Melton to Bacchus Marsh, and Tullamarine to Broadmeadows north of the CBD.
