I have been studying the market with interest these past few weeks. Despite what you may still be hearing out there in the media, the market has turned. Prices have plateaued out and are on the way back up.
We’ve recently attended auctions for clients in Box Hill and Blackburn and I can tell you first hand the market there is piping hot!
Of course, not all suburbs do the same thing, as we know. There are still pockets of Melbourne that are yet to shift eg: down bayside towards Mornington. However, I have seen a definite shift in buyer confidence and people are out there buying homes and competing with gusto to do so.
It is only a matter of time before the entire market picks up. Tick, tick.
We see these little pockets of opportunity for buyers every few years. There was one during Winter 2018. Another during Autumn 2020. Then this one, during Summer 2022/2023.
